What SCA Timer is for

SCA Timer is a practice timer for the MRCGP Simulated Consultation Assessment (SCA). It’s for revision and practice only.

Not affiliated with the RCGP

SCA Timer is independent and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the Royal College of General Practitioners. Exam information on this site is based on the RCGP’s published guidance when it was written, and that guidance can change. Always check the RCGP’s website and the details sent for your own sitting.

Not medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice. Content about consultations is about exam technique, not patient care.

Using the site

• Use SCA Timer for lawful, personal or educational purposes.
• Don’t try to disrupt the site, its hosting or other people’s use of it.
• We provide the timer free and as it is. We can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, so don’t rely on it as your only way of keeping time where timing matters.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, SCA Prep isn’t liable for any loss arising from your use of SCA Timer, including missed or inaccurate timings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Intellectual property

The site’s design, text and code belong to SCA Prep. You’re welcome to share links to it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
